Jim Jensen – Regional Manager
Jim leads an experienced coaching staff and the entire organization while incorporating structured programs that define player development to the game of softball. He has 13 years coaching experience in fast pitch travel softball.
Jim's coaching resume extends with successful tenures in High School Varsity Girls Softball, Men’s Competitive Slow Pitch Softball, Youth Boys Basketball, Little League Baseball, Little League Girls Softball, ASA Girls Recreation Softball and Travel Girls’ Softball ranging from ages 12U-18G. Jim has 30+ years coaching experience with a proven track record for success.
Playing Experience: Played high school baseball 4 years lettered as a freshman and high school football for 4 years. Played 1 year of college baseball with FCC. Played 2 years of fast pitch softball, 8 years of ALL-Navy Softball and 10 years of sponsored slow pitch travel softball.
Travel ball accomplishments:
- 2007 14u 17th at TCS Nationals-Park City, Utah
- 2008 16u 3rd place at So Cal ASA States
- 2010 16U SoCal Regional Pacific Coast Champions
- 2013 18U PGF Platinum National Championship
- 2013 16U 9th Place at the Colorado Fireworks
- 2014 16U 9th Place at the Colorado Fireworks
Jim grew up in Fresno, Ca, he is married to Rachel Jensen, and has five girls, Angelica “Gellie” attended and played softball for Hope International University and Brianna attended and played for the University of Mary. Jim played one year at Fresno City College posting .292 BA before deciding to return to the US Navy. Jim played on the ALL NAVY team for 8 years while overseas winning MVP honors when his team won the South Western Pacific All Military Championship. Coached the first and only Little League Girls All Star Team from Temecula to the Western Regionals. In 2002, coached and ran the Fury Softball Organization formerly known as California Fury and OnDeck Fury. In 2006 he ventured out on his own and started Strike Force Softball a Non-Profit 501© 3 Softball Organization. In 2015 he transitioned to the Firecrackers Softball Organization, Inc as a Regional Manager of Firecrackers Jensen.
